Daywise itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Gwalior - Royal Impressions Begin
Arrive in Gwalior and transfer to your hotel. Post check -in, begin your exploration with the majestic Gwalior Fort , often called the Gibraltar of India. Visit Sas Bahu Temples , the Teli Ka Mandir , and the stunning Man Singh Palace . In the evening, attend the Light and Sound Show at the fort which narrates tales of Rajput valor. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
Day 2: Gwalior City Tour - Palaces, Museums & Spiritual Sites
After breakfast, visit the Jai Vilas Palace Museum , home to the Scindia royal family and s howcasing an extravagant lifestyle (don't miss the world's largest pair of chandeliers!). Continue to Gopachal rock -cut Jain monuments and Sun Temple (a replica of Konark) . Enjoy shopping for Chanderi silk and local handicrafts in the bustling bazaars. Ove rnight stay in Gwalior.
Day 3: Gwalior to Orchha (125 km / 3 hrs) - Hidden Kingdom on the Betwa
After breakfast, drive to the heritage town of Orchha , perched on the banks of the Betwa River . Check - in and explore the Orchha Fort Complex including Jahangir Mahal , Raja Mahal , and Rani Mahal . Visit the Chaturbhuj Temple and the Ram Raja Temple , where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king. Stroll through the cenotaphs (chhatris) at sunset along the river. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Day 4: Orchha to Khajuraho (175 k m / 4 hrs) - Land of Sculpted Temples
Post breakfast, depart for Khajuraho , the UNESCO World Heritage town famous for its intricate temple carvings. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a Light and Sound Show at the Western Group of Templ es, telling the story of Chandela dynasty and the temples' significance. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 5: Khajuraho - Temple Trail & Cultural Wonders
After breakfast, check-out and head back to Nagpur for your onward journey. Stop for a meal or local souvenirs en route. Depart with unforgettable jungle tales and perhaps, some wild sightings captured in your heart (and camera).
Day 6: Departure from Gwalior (by road or flight/train)
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Gwalior for departure. Depending on your schedule, optional stops or a quick meal can be arranged en route.
