Daywise itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu - Traditional Warmth in the Himalayan Capital
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After meet & greet, transfer to your hotel in the city. Once checked in, head out for a relaxed stroll through Thamel, known for its vibrant streets, rooftop cafes, and cultural shops. In the evening, opt to visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and attend the soulful Sandhya Aarti by the Bagmati River.
Day 2: Full Day Kathmandu Heritage Tour
After breakfast, begin exploring the rich heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill offering panoramic views of the city. Then continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can explore ancient temples, courtyards, and the living goddess Kumari's residence. Post lunch, head to Patan Durbar Square to admire the fusion of Hindu and Buddhist architecture. End the day at Boudhanath Stupa, the heart of Tibetan Buddhist culture in Nepal.
Day 3: Bhaktapur Day Excursion - Back in Time to the Malla Era
After breakfast, head to Bhaktapur (approx. 45 min), a medieval city that feels like a living museum. Explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, 55 Window Palace, and local pottery workshops. Don't forget to try the famous Juju Dhau (King Curd). Return to Kathmandu in the afternoon and enjoy some shopping at Asan Bazaar or a relaxing evening at a cultural dinner show with folk dances.
Day 4: Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Leave with stories of ancient temples, holy chants, and the warm smiles of the Kathmandu Valley.
