Day 1: Arrival in Baku - Welcome to the Caspian Capital
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Baku. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along Baku Boulevard , soaking in views of the Caspian Sea and the glowing Flame Towers . Dine at a traditional rest aurant serving qutab , kebabs, and sweet sherbets to start your Azerbaijani journey.
Day 2: Baku Old City & Modern Icons
After breakfast, explore Icherisheher (Old City) with visits to the Maiden Tower , Shirvanshah's Palace , and charming alleys filled with craft shops. Later, discover Baku's modern side at the Heydar Aliyev Center , known for its flowing, futuristic design. Wrap up your day with shopping at Nizami Street and an optional Caspian dinner cruise.
Day 3: Absheron Peninsula - Fire & Faith
Explore the mystical energy of the Absheron Peninsula today. Visit the ancient Ateshgah Fire Temple , followed by Yanar Dag , the eternal burning hill. Continue to the Qala Fortress and Ethnographic Museum , which displays Azerbaijan 's village life and traditional architecture. Return to Baku for a relaxing evening or cultural performance.
Day 4: Drive to Gabala - Through Mountains & Meadows
After breakfast, head toward the scenic town of Gabala (approx. 4 - 5 hrs). En route, visit Shamakhi Juma Mosque and Diri Baba Mausoleum , both rich in spiritual and historical value. Stop at Nohur Lake for a refreshing break before reaching your hotel in Gabala. Unwind with the stunning views of the Greater Caucasus and a cozy dinner.
Day 5: Gabala Exploration - Nature, Cable Cars & Relaxation
Post breakfast, ride the Tufandag Cable Car for alpine views and stroll through pine -covered trails. Visit Gabala Shooting Club or the Gabaland Amusement Park if traveling with family. Spend time at Yeddi Goze l Waterfall , nestled deep within the forest. Evening is yours to relax at the resort or try traditional saj dishes.
Day 6: Drive to Sheki - Royal Retreat in the Hills
After breakfast, drive to Sheki (approx. 1.5 - 2 hrs), a former Silk Road hub. Visit the s plendid Sheki Khan's Palace , famous for its stained -glass windows (shebeke) and frescoed walls. Explore the Caravanserai , an old trading inn turned museum/hotel, and walk through cobbled streets filled with handicrafts, sweets, and silk scarves. Enjoy a tr aditional Sheki -style plov for dinner.
Day 7: Return to Baku & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Baku (approx. 5 - 6 hrs). Depending on your flight time, stop en route at scenic spots or local markets. Upon arrival, transfer directly to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for your departure with memories of Azerbaijan's royal past, mountain charm, and coastal elegance.
