Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra - Journey to Gangtok - Gateway to Sikkim
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and begin your scenic drive to Gangtok. As you ascend through winding roads, the lush green valleys and terraced fields offer a perfect welcome to Sikkim. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. Take a stroll along MG Marg in the evening, enjoy some local street food, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Mystical Glacial Beauty
After breakfast, head out for a mesmerizing excursion to Tsomgo Lake, sit uated at 12,400 feet and surrounded by snow -laden peaks. Continue further to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a site of deep reverence among locals. If permits allow, you can also visit Nathula Pass (closed on Mon/Tue), offering a glimpse of the Indo -China border. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung - Into the Heart of North Sikkim
Post breakfast, begin your enchanting drive to Lachung, a serene hamlet in North Sikkim. En route, pass through cascading wa terfalls like Seven Sisters Falls and Naga Falls, with a stop at Singhik View Point offering spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Day 4: Yumthang Valley Excursion - Sikkim's Valley of Flowers
Early morning, after a hearty breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, located at 11,800 feet. Known as the "Valley of Flowers," this alpine paradise is dotted with rhododendrons in spring and offers sn ow- covered meadows in winter. If weather permits and you're up for adventure, you may continue further to Zero Point (Yumesamdong), where snow is almost guaranteed year -round. Return to Lachung by afternoon and relax. Day 5: Lach ung to Gangtok - Return Through the Mountains
Day 6: Gangtok to Darjeeling - Colonial Hills Await
Post breakfast, check out and drive to Darjeeling. As you transition from Sikkim to West Bengal, the landscape shifts to emerald tea gardens and pine -covered slopes. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and unwind. Evening is free to stroll on the Mall Road or enjoy the cool mountain air. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 7: Darjeeling Sightseeing - Sunrise, Tea, and Tranquility
Begin your day early with a drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range. En route back, stop at Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore Darjeeling's iconic attractions like the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and Japanese Peace Pagoda.
