Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra - Drive to Gangtok - Welcoming the Hills
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and begin your picturesque drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The winding roads, fluttering prayer flags, and lush tea gardens mark your journey into the Eastern Himalayas. Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and u nwind. The evening is free to explore MG Road, lined with cafes and shops. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion - Sacred and Scenic
After an early breakfast, embark on a full -day excursion to the famous Tsomgo Lake, a glac ial lake at 12,400 feet surrounded by snow -capped mountains. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered site with a unique legend. Optionally, you may visit Nathula Pass (subject to permit and weather) for a glimpse of the Indo -China border. Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok to Pelling - A Drive Through Serenity
Check out after breakfast and enjoy a scenic drive to Pelling, a quiet Himalayan town blessed with stunning Kanchenjunga views. En route, visit Ravangl a Buddha Park or Temi Tea Garden if time permits. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and soak in the serene ambiance. Overnight stay in Pelling.
Day 4: Exploring Pelling - Monasteries, Waterfalls & Mountains
Today, explore the gems of Pelling. Begin with a visit to the 17th -century Pemayangtse Monastery, followed by the majestic Kanchenjunga Falls and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, believed to fulfill wishes. You may also walk the thrilling Skywalk at Sanga Choeling or take in views from Rabdentse Ruins. R eturn to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Pelling .
Day 5: Pelling to Kalimpong - Offbeat Tranquility
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Gangtok. Enjoy the scenic drive, passing waterfalls and forested hills. On arrival, check back into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. You may choose to shop for local Sikkimese handicrafts or try a rooftop caf'. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 6: Kalimpong to Darjeeling - Tea Gardens & Toy Tr ain Trails
After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling, the "Queen of the Hills." Enjoy the scenic drive past lush tea estates and rolling hills. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening walking along the Mall Road or relaxing with a cup of worl d-famous Darjeeling tea. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 7: Exploring Darjeeling - Peaks, Monasteries & Markets
Start early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range. On your return, stop at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. In the afternoon, tour a local tea estate or hop on the iconic Darjeeling Toy Train (optional). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 8: Departure from Darjeeling to Bagdogra - Farewell to the Hills
After breakfast, bid adieu to the enchanting hills as you drive back to Bagdogra for your return journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Eastern Himalayan grace and culture.
