Day 1: Arrival in Mangalore - Drive to Sringeri (Spiritual Gateway)
Arrive at Mangalore and start your serene hill journey toward Sringeri (approx. 110 km / 3.5 hrs), a revered seat of Advaita philosophy established by Adi Shankaracharya. Check -in to a local lodge or guesthouse nestled in the scenic Western Ghats. In the evening, visit the Sharadamba Temple , dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, and the Vidyashankara Temple , renowned for its architectural brilliance and astronomical significance. Day 2: Explore Sringeri - Sacred Riverbanks and Spiritual Vibes
Begin your day with temple darshan followed by peaceful walks along the Tunga River , where sages are believed to have meditated. Visit the Sringeri Mutt Complex , home to traditions upheld by the Shankaracharya lineage. If time permits, take a short trip to nearby temples like Horanadu Annapoorneshwari or Sirimane Waterfalls (optional). Return and enjoy another night of peace in Sringeri.
Day 3: Scenic Drive to Udupi - Lord Krishna's Abode
Check out and drive towards Udupi (approx. 4 hrs). On the way, you can enjoy the serene green canopies of the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, visit the Shri Krishna Matha , a temple where Lord Krishna is uniquely worshipped through a silver -plated window known as Kanakana Kindi . Explore the temple square , its lively markets, and indulge in temple prasadam. Evening free to visit Malpe Beach or relax. Overnight stay in Udupi.
Day 4: Transfer to Mangalore - Temples, Churches & Coastal Culture
After breakfast, drive to Mangalore (approx. 60 km / 1.5 hrs). Visit the historic Kadri Manjunath Temple , Mangaladevi Temple , and the beautiful St. Aloysius Chapel . In the evening, unwind at Panambur or Tannirbhavi Beach . You can also shop for spices, coff ee, and local cashews at Hampankatta Market. Overnight stay in Mangalore.
