Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu - Gateway to the Himalayas
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport , meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Thamel , known for its handicrafts, bakeries, and cozy cafes. Optional: attend the evening aarti at Pashupatinath Temple , a soul -stirring experience beside the Bagmati River.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing - Spiritual Sanctuaries & Stupas
After breakfast, embark o n a heritage -filled tour of Kathmandu Valley . Visit Pashupatinath Temple , followed by the majestic Boudhanath Stupa - a haven of Tibetan Buddhist culture. Next, head to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) for panoramic views, and explore Patan Durbar Square , known for its stunning architecture and fine metalwork.
Day 3: Drive to Pokhara - Valley to Lakeside Calm
Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara (approx. 6 - 7 hrs), passing through hills, rivers, and Nepalese villages. Check into your lakeside hotel upon arrival. Unwi nd by Phewa Lake , enjoy local food, or relax with a short walk along the peaceful Lakeside promenade.
Day 4: Fly to Jomsom - Pilgrimage to Muktinath Temple
Early morning, take a short scenic flight to Jomsom (approx. 20 min). On arrival, drive or take a local jeep ride to Muktinath Temple (approx. 1.5 - 2 hrs), one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists. Witness the 108 water spouts, eternal flame, and peaceful mountain backdrop. Return to Jomsom for dinner and an overnight stay in this mys tical Himalayan town.
Day 5: Fly to Pokhara - Short Sightseeing & Relaxation
After breakfast, take the return flight from Jomsom to Pokhara . Upon arrival, visit Davis Falls , the mysterious Gupteshwor Cave , and the Bindabasini Temple . The afternoon is free to enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake or sip coffee with Annapurna views at a lakeside caf'.
Day 6: Return to Kathmandu - Final Glimpses of Culture
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 6 - 7 hrs). Check in to your hotel and explore local bazaars like Asan or Durbar Marg for souvenirs. Optional: end your day with a traditional Nepali cultural dinner featuring folk dance and authentic cuisine.
Day 7: Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your return flight. Depart with the spiritual energy of Muktinath and the visual grandeur of Nepal's Himalayas.
