Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar - Shikara Serenity
Arrive at Srinagar airport and get transferred to your hotel/houseboat. After check -in and a quick refresh, experience a tranquil Shikara ride on Dal Lake , soaking in views of the floating gardens, wooden houseboats, and snow -capped pe aks. Visit the Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh - and enjoy a calm evening at Boulevard Road with views of Zabarwan Hills. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar _ Pahalgam - Into the Lush Valleys (90 km / 2.5 -3 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive to Pahalgam , the 'Valley of Shepherds', nestled along the Lidder River. En route, witness saffron fields and the ancient ruins of Avantipur. After check -in, relax or take a leisure stroll along the riverbanks. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 3: Pahalgam - Meadows, Pine Forests & Adventures
Explore the beauty of Aru Valley , Betaab Valley , and Chandanwari (at own cost by local vehicle). Optional activities like pony rides, ziplining, or simple picnics in lush pine forests await. Evenings are best spent browsing the local market for woolens and dry fruits. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam _ Sonmarg - Alpine Escape (165 km / ~5 hrs)
After an early breakfast, travel to the pristine alpine valley of Sonmarg , meaning 'Meadow of Gold'. Arriv e and check -in. Post lunch, you may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at own cost) or simply enjoy the spectacular landscape surrounded by glaciers and gushing rivers. Overnight in Sonmarg.
Day 5: Sonmarg _ Srinagar - Return to the Heart (80 km / 2.5 h rs)
Wake up to fresh mountain air. After br eakfast, you may take a short walk to the Gulmarg Golf Course , one of the highest in the world. Later, return to Srinagar. Check -in to your hotel/houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 6: Srinagar - Leisure, Shopp ing & Heritage
Spend your day exploring the old city of Srinagar. Visit Jamia Masjid , Shankaracharya Temple , and indulge in shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets, and Pashmina. Enjoy authentic Wazwan cuisine in the evening. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport with memories of Kashmir's meadows, valleys, and lakes.
