Day 1: Arrival in Pondicherry - Scenic Drive to Mahabalipuram & Temple Trails
Arrive at Pondicherry Airport/Railway Station and embark on a scenic coastal drive along the East Coast Road to the ancient temple town of Mahabalipuram (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In th e afternoon, set out to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Mahabalipuram, including the majestic Shore Temple standing against the Bay of Bengal, the intricately carved Pancha Rathas , and the open -air rock relief Arjuna's Penance . Day 2: Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry - French Quarters & Serenity
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pondicherry , a b eautiful blend of French elegance and Tamil tradition. Check into your hotel and unwind. Begin your exploration with a walk through the French Quarters or White Town , lined with mustard -colored colonial villas, art galleries, and cozy caf's. Day 3: Spiritual Auroville & Beach Leisure
After a r elaxed breakfast, set out for Auroville , an experimental township aimed at human unity. Visit the Matrimandir , the iconic golden sphere meditation center (advance passes needed for inside access), and explore the community's eco -stores and caf's. Return to the city for a visit to the Manakula Vinayagar Temple , known for its vibrant architecture and history. In the afternoon, unwind at Paradise Beach or Serenity Beach 'ideal for sunbathing, water sports, or simply relaxing. Spend your final evening shopping f or handmade incense, pottery, or linen. Day 4: Departure from Pondicherry - Cherishing Coastal Memories
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your departure timing, you may take one last stroll through the town or pick up some artisanal souvenirs before being transferred to Pondicherry Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
