Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar - Transfer to Dalhousie (Approx. 5.5 hours)
Upon arrival in Amritsar, begin your beautiful journey to the quiet and charming hill station of Dalhousie. Nestled among pine -clad valleys and colonial -era buildings, Dalhousie welcomes you with cool breezes and old -world charm. Check in to your hotel, unwind, and take a leisurely evening stroll on Gandhi Chowk. Enjoy dinner with views of the misty mountains.
Day 2: Dalhousie - Khaj jiar Excursion
After breakfast, set out to explore Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India." Surrounded by deodar forests, the vast green meadow is ideal for a horse ride or zorbing. Visit Khajji Nag Temple, then continue to Chamera Lake for a peaceful boat ride. Return to Dalhousie and spend the evening relaxing or shopping for woolens and local handicrafts. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Dalhousie to Amritsar - Wagah Border Ceremony (Approx. 5.5 hours)
After breakfast, drive back to Amritsar. O n arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. In the evening, proceed to the Wagah Border to witness the energetic Beating Retreat Ceremony - a must -see experience showcasing patriotic fervor and military precision. Return for dinner and rest.
Day 4: Amr itsar Sightseeing - Spiritual & Historical Wonders
Today, visit the iconic Golden Temple, a symbol of peace and Sikh spirituality. Enjoy a langar meal at the Gurudwara. Later, explore the historic Jallianwala Bagh and the Partition Museum to understand the city's poignant past. Visit Gobindgarh Fort in the evening, which lights up with cultural shows and local food stalls. Overnight in Amritsar.
