Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun - Transfer to Haridwar - Gateway to the Chardham Yatra
Welcome to Uttarakhand! Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station , begin your journey to Haridwar (appr ox. 1.5 hrs). Check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, witness the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri , an ethereal sight that marks the beginning of this sacred yatra. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot - Into the Foothills of Faith
After breakfast, drive to Barkot (approx. 6 - 7 hrs), located near Yamunotri and surrounded by stunning Himalayan landscapes. En route, visit Kempty Falls near Mussoorie. On arrival in Barkot, check into your scenic riverside hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Yamunotri Excursion - First Dham of the Yatra
Early morning, drive to Jankichatti (approx. 1.5 hrs), then begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri , the origin of River Yamuna. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund and offer prayers at Yamunotri Te mple . Return to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi - Onward to the Abode of Ganga
Post breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi (approx. 4 - 5 hrs), situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arriv al, check in at the hotel. Visit the Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and enjoy the spiritual ambience. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Gangotri Excursion - Seek Blessings from the Ganges
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi - Embra cing Tranquility
After breakfast, embark on a long but scenic drive to Guptkashi (approx. 7 - 8 hrs), situated en route to Kedarnath. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. You may visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Guptka shi.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath - Trek to Lord Shiva's Abode
After an early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and continue to Gaurikund by shuttle. Begin your 16 km trek to Kedarnath , nestled at an altitude of 11,755 feet. You may opt for a pony/palki/helicopter ride . Reach the Kedarnath Temple , one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and feel the divine energy. Overnight stay in Kedarnath at a basic guesthouse.
Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi - Spiritual Descent
Wake early to attend morning aarti and admire the temple bathed in the golden sunrise. Begin your descent to Gaurikund and continue onward to Guptkashi . Relax and recover at your hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath - The Bless ings of Vishnu Await
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath (approx. 7 - 8 hrs), traveling through mesmerizing Himalayan terrain via Joshimath . On arrival, check into your hotel. Visit the Badrinath Temple , Tapt Kund , and the holy Mana Village , the last villag e before the Tibet border. Attend the serene evening aarti . Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag - Peaceful Riverside Respite
After morning darshan, begin your drive to Rudraprayag (approx. 5 - 6 hrs), a scenic town situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. Enjoy the tranquil views and spiritual ambiance. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 11: Rudraprayag to Haridwar - Completing the Sacred Circuit
Drive back to Haridwar (approx. 6 - 7 hrs), where your yatra had begun. Check in to your hotel, freshen up and explore the local markets or revisit Har Ki Pauri for a final blessing by the holy Ganga. Overnight stay in Haridwar
Day 12: Departure from Haridwar to Dehradun - Farewell with Blessings
After breakfast, proceed to Dehradun Airport or Railway Station (approx. 1.5 hrs) for your return journey with a heart full of divine memories and soul-enriching experiences
