Daywise itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar - Welcome to the Land of Lakes
Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel/houseboat. Begin your Kashmir journey with a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake , followed by a visit to the Mughal Gardens : Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. End the day with a relaxing evening by the lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar _ Pahalgam - Saffron Trails & River Charms (90 km / 2.5 -3 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. En route, see saffron fields in Pampore and visit the ancient Avantipur temple ruins . On arrival, check -in and enjoy the serene surroundings. Optional nature walk along the Lidder River. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 3: Pahalgam - Valleys of Beauty & Adventure
Today, explore Betaab Valley , Aru Valley , and Chandanwari (local taxi to be hired). These valleys offer unmatched views, picnic spots, and activities like pony rides and ziplining. Ideal for nature lovers and photographers. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam _ Sonmarg - Alpine Beauty Awaits (165 km / ~5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg , nestled in the Sindh Valley. Known as the 'Meadow of Gold', this town offers breathtaking views of snow -clad peaks. Optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier for snow experiences. Overnigh t stay in Sonmarg.
Day 5: Sonmarg _ Srinagar - Mughal Grandeur Returns (80 km / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your return journey, filled with memories of Kashmir's pristine beauty and cultural richness.
Day 6: Excursion to Gulmarg - The Meadow of Flowers (52 km / 2 hrs one way)
Today, embark on a full -day excursion to Gulmarg , a ski destination and summer paradise. Ride the iconic Gulmarg Gondola (phases I & II) for panoramic views of Mt. Apharwat. Enjoy optional activities like snow biking, sledging, or simply playing in the snow (in season). Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Kashmir's beauty and adventure.
