Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Baku - Welcome to the City of Flame
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening stroll along the beautiful Baku Boulevard, one of the longest promenades on the Caspian Sea. Pass by modern art installations, caf's, and the lit-up Mini Venice area. Enjoy your welcome dinner with views of the futuristic Flame Towers lighting up the night sky.
Day 2: Old Baku & Modern Marvels
After breakfast, begin your tour of Icherisheher (Old City), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshah's Palace, and the Caravanserai, all echoing tales of ancient Persia. Later, continue to the modern side of Baku - marvel at the Heydar Aliyev Center, an architectural masterpiece by Zaha Hadid. End your day with some shopping at Nizami Street, Baku's bustling shopping avenue.
Day 3: Absheron Peninsula Excursion - Fire & Faith
Today, explore the fascinating sites of the Absheron Peninsula. Start with the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a Zoroastrian pilgrimage site where natural flames have burned for centuries. Then visit the surreal Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain), where a wall of fire naturally blazes from the ground. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Qala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, showcasing rural Azerbaijani life. Return to Baku for a relaxed evening.
Day 4: Baku City Tour - Culture, Shopping & Leisure
After breakfast, visit the Upland Park for a panoramic view of Baku's skyline, the Caspian Sea, and Flame Towers. Continue to the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, shaped like a rolled-up carpet, followed by the Baku Ferris Wheel for a fun ride with city views. The rest of the day is free for shopping or leisure. You may also opt for a sunset cruise on the Caspian Sea for a serene farewell to the city.
Day 5: Departure from Baku
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for your onward journey. Leave with vibrant memories of a city where ancient heritage meets bold modernism.
