Daywise itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent - The Capital of Contrasts
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport, where you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, explore the city's highlights including Independence Square, Amir Timur Museum, and Alisher Navoi Opera & Ballet Theatre. In the evening, stroll through Broadway Street and enjoy dinner at a traditional Uzbek restaurant.
Day 2: High-Speed Train to Samarkand - The Silk Road's Crown Jewel
After an early breakfast, board the Afrosiyob bullet train to Samarkand (approx. 2 hrs). Begin your tour with the iconic Registan Square, surrounded by turquoise-tiled madrasahs. Visit the elegant Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, and the bustling Siab Bazaar. After sightseeing, enjoy dinner and check in to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Drive to Bukhara - Into the Desert Oasis
Post breakfast, drive to Bukhara (approx. 4 - 5 hrs). En route, view glimpses of the Kyzylkum Desert. On arrival, check in and explore Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble, a historical square surrounded by madrasahs and tea houses. Spend your evening relaxing in this charming old-world town with a traditional folk dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Bukhara Sightseeing - The Living Museum of Islam
Today, dive deep into Bukhara's historic architecture and heritage. Visit the grand Ark Fortress, Po-i-Kalyan Complex, Chor Minor, and Samanid Mausoleum - one of Central Asia's oldest monuments. In the afternoon, shop for local handicrafts like carpets, silk scarves, and miniature paintings in ancient caravanserais. Evening is free for local exploration.
Day 5: Return to Tashkent - Back to Modern Comforts
After breakfast, travel back to Tashkent either by train or flight (based on availability). Upon arrival, relax and enjoy your final evening. Consider visiting Chorsu Bazaar for some last-minute souvenirs or dine at a rooftop restaurant with views of the Tashkent skyline.
Day 6: Departure from Tashkent
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Tashkent International Airport for your onward flight, carrying with you centuries of culture, stories of the Silk Road, and architectural marvels.
