Day 1: Arrival in Baku - City of Wind and Wonder
Touch down at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Baku. Capture the city's vibrant skyline and enjo y a delicious Azerbaijani dinner while admiring the Flame Towers dancing with lights after dusk.
Day 2: Baku Old City & Architectural Icons
After breakfast, dive into the heart of Icherisheher (Old City) . Stroll through the cobbled streets lined with cent uries -old mosques, caravanserais , and the mysterious Maiden Tower . Visit the royal Shirvanshah's Palace , followed by an exploration of modern -day architectural marvels like the Heydar Aliyev Center . Wrap up your day with shopping on Nizami Street or sip te a at a charming local caf.
Day 3: Fire & History - Absheron Peninsula Excursion
Today is all about discovering fire, faith, and folklore. Begin with the Ateshgah Fire Temple , a sacred Zoroastrian site where flames have burned since ancient times. Next, visit Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain) , a naturally burning hillside that never sleeps. Conclude your day at the Qala Fortress and Ethnographic Museum before returning to Baku for a restful evening.
Day 4: Drive to Gabala - Azerbaijan's Alpine Gem
After breakfast, journey through scenic mountain roads toward Gabala (approx. 4 - 5 hours). On the way, stop at the Shamakhi Juma Mosque and Nohur Lake for some refreshing views. Upon arriv al in Gabala, check into your resort surrounded by forested hills. Spend the evening relaxing or enjoy a short nature walk with views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains .
Day 5: Explore Gabala - Nature, Cable Cars & Culture
Start your day with a ride on the Tufandag Cable Car , offering breathtaking views of snow - capped peaks and alpine meadows. Visit the Gabaland Amusement Park if traveling with kids, or explore Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfall tucked in the forest. For culture lovers, the Gabala Archa eological Center offers glimpses of ancient Caucasian Albania. Enjoy a quiet evening in nature.
Day 6: Return to Baku & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Baku . Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a quick stop for last-minute shopping or relax at a local teahouse. Transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for your onward flight with memories of Azerbaijan's coastal glam and mountain charm.
