Day 1: Arrival in Baku - Welcome to the Pearl of the Caspian
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku and transfer to your hotel. Take the evening to unwind along the Caspian promenade , visiting Mini Venice , Baku Eye Ferris Wheel , and witnessing the city's iconic Flame Towers illuminate the night. Enjoy your first Azerbaijani dinner with a glass of local narsharab (pomegranate sauce).
Day 2: Baku City Tour - From Medieval Walls to Futuristic Curves
Start the day with a guided tour of Icherisheher (Old City) , visiting the Maiden Tower , Shirvanshah's Palace , and the Caravanserai . Head into modern Baku for a photo stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center , designed by Zaha Hadid, followed by time at the Carpet Museum and Nizami Street for shopping and tea in traditional chaykhana .
Day 3: Absheron Peninsula - Fire & Spirituality
Travel outside the city to explore the mystic Ateshgah Fire Temple , followed by Yanar Dag , where natural gas flames blaze from the hillsides. In the afternoon, visit Qala Ethnographic Museum to learn about ancient Azerbaijani village life. Return to Baku and prepare for your upcoming cross -border journey.
Day 4: Journey to Tbilisi - Cross into Georgia
After breakfast, depart by road or short flight (depending on your plan) to Tbilisi , Georgia's charming and colorful capital. Check into your hotel and enjoy an introductory walk along the Narikala Fortress , Rike Park , and Bridge of Peace . End the day with a traditional Georgian dinner and a glass of Saperavi wine .
Day 5: Tbilisi City Tour - Winding Streets & Warming Cuisine
Explore Old Tbilisi today - walk through the sulfur bath district ( Abanotubani ), view the Metekhi Church , and ride the cable car to the Mother of Georgia statue. Visit Rustaveli Avenue for shopping and caf' hopping, and explore l ocal markets like Dry Bridge Flea Market . Evening at leisure or optional folk dance show with dinner.
Day 6: Day Trip to Mtskheta - Georgia's Ancient Soul
Today, head for a day trip to Mtskheta, Georgia's spiritual heart and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery, both offering breathtaking hilltop views. Return to Tbilisi by evening for your final Georgian meal featuring khinkali, lobio, and churchkhela.
Day 7: Return to Baku - Final Glimpse of Azerbaijan
After breakfast, return to Baku by road or air. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day for last-minute shopping or relaxing at a local chaykhana (teahouse). You can opt for a farewell Caspian dinner with a traditional mugham music performance.
Day 8: Departure from Baku
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for your onward flight, taking with you a tale of two cultures united by history, hospitality, and natural beauty.
