Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent - Welcome to Uzbekistan
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport, where your local representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel. Settle in and then head for a light evening city tour visiting Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, and the lively Broadway Street for local snacks and performances. Wrap up you're evening with a welcome dinner at a traditional Uzbek restaurant.
Day 2: Explore Tashkent - History, Culture & Local Life
After breakfast, set off to discover the cultural richness of Tashkent, starting with Khast Imam Complex, home to the world-famous Quran of Caliph Uthman. Visit the Chorsu Bazaar, a vibrant dome-roofed market offering spices, handicrafts, and local sweets. Later, take a ride on the Tashkent Metro, known for its elegant Soviet-era stations. Optional: Attend a local ballet performance or folk show in the evening.
Day 3: High-Speed Train to Samarkand - Jewel of the Silk Road
Post breakfast, board the Afrosiyob bullet train to Samarkand (approx. 2 hrs). On arrival, visit the magnificent Registan Square, framed by three majestic madrasahs. Marvel at the BibiKhanym Mosque and stroll through the Siab Bazaar. Later, check in to your hotel and enjoy a quiet dinner with views of lit-up monuments.
Day 4: Samarkand Sightseeing - Mausoleums & Mosaic Masterpieces
After breakfast, explore the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, final resting place of Tamerlane. Visit Shah-i-Zinda, a breathtaking necropolis of tile-covered tombs. In the afternoon, see the Ulugh Beg Observatory, a 15th-century marvel. End your day with some leisure time at a teahouse or try your hand at Uzbek ceramics in a local workshop.
Day 5: Drive to Bukhara - Old-World Caravan Charm
After breakfast, drive to Bukhara (approx. 4 - 5 hrs) through desert roads and scenic vistas. On arrival, begin your exploration at Lyabi-Hauz, a plaza surrounded by madrassas and mulberry trees. Enjoy a traditional folk performance over dinner and check in for a night in this atmospheric old city.
Day 6: Bukhara to Tashkent - Architecture & Souvenirs
Start your day with visits to the Ark Fortress, Kalon Minaret, and Po-i-Kalyan Complex, all brimming with Islamic architecture and Silk Road history. Then transfer to the railway station or airport for your return to Tashkent (flight/train). Upon arrival, check in and enjoy your last evening exploring or shopping at Mega Planet Mall or Alay Bazaar.
Day 7: Departure from Tashkent
After breakfast, transfer to Tashkent International Airport for your onward journey, bidding farewell to a land rich with Islamic artistry, ancient trade routes, and timeless hospitality.
